ᐉ WWE 2K20 Patch Coming … ‘in The Subsequent Two Weeks’ ᐉ New Mobile Gadget

noviembre 16, 2022

Bug-beleagueredWWE 2K20, “held with each other by duct tape and spit,” according to a single Steam reviewer, will get patched, 2K Sports says. In two weeks.

The sports publisher, in a tweet yesterday afternoon, formally acknowledged the rasslin’ game’s lag, frameskip and glitch-filled launch this week, which has observed a dogpile of gifs, screenshots and videos displaying wrestlers (and their hair) performing all types of unnatural points. Sports games commonly have bugs at launch, but the quantity and game-wrecking nature of the ones WWE 2K20 players have shared on social media are beyond the pale. To wit:

2K Sports/Visual Ideas says:

So, that relatively raises the query of why the game couldn’t be delayed even two weeks. (Pretty apparent answer: Contractual obligation, but to paying buyers, that is a weak excuse.) What ever the case, WWE 2K20 is now open to the withering criticism that players paid $60 for a beta — if not a lot more, taking into consideration the unique editions and such.

The other circumstantial proof that perhaps WWE 2K20 must not have been released is the truth longtime developer Yuke’s was let go from the project back in the summer season. Yuke’s had been operating on WWF/WWE games going back to 2000, and was retained by 2K immediately after it purchased the WWE license from the THQ fire sale back in 2013.

But this year, Visual Ideas took more than complete manage of the project for the 1st time. Even though fans, more than the years, had criticized Yuke’s iterations (with glitches amongst them) at least previous editions had been substantially a lot more steady and playable than what’s been shown of 2K20.
