French publisher Ubisoft has filed a lawsuit against MizuSoft, a enterprise alleged to be making cheats for its on-line shooter Rainbow Six Siege.
As reported by Polygon, the suit was filed in California, with Ubisoft alleging the enterprise of making cheat programmes that gave customers an benefit more than their opponents. The French firm says that MizuSoft is in violation of its copyright and is encouraging players to be in breach of Rainbow Six Siege’s terms of use and code of conduct.
Stated cheats have apparently been downloaded “thousands of occasions” for thousands of dollars a pop. Ubisoft is searching for MizuSoft be shut down and that it receives $25,000 per violation.
This follows Epic suing a minor for promoting and advertising Fortnite hacks.
