Stefan Vogt (@8bit_era on Twitter) has two text-adventure games (with good graphics!) accessible for a though for the C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, Amiga, Atari ST and MS-DOS. The games are Hibernated 1 and Eight Feet Below (an add-on for the former). If all that wasn’t adequate, Stefan has announced yesterday that he ported the game for but a further machine: the Commodore Plus/four.
On Hibernate 1 you play Olivia Lund, a space traveller that wakes up alone in her ship immediately after 200 years of hypersleep. She founds herself stranded in the vast universe and she has only the ship AI to speak to. Eight Feet Below requires the similar adventure, but now beneath the view of Vlad, a Vermin Exterminator that lurks in her ship.
