We know there are a lot of new games to preserve track of this month, but AI: The Somnium Files is a single you can not miss. If you do not know, this is the new game from Kotaro Uchikoshi, creator of the Zero Escape trilogy. Its original date of release was July 24, and it possibly would have been superior served there than in the crowded fall release schedule it is at the moment appearing in.
But critics are consuming it up. You play as Kaname Date, a man on the hunt for a mysterious serial killer. Since it is the future, Date not only has the potential to investigate crime scenes and interrogate witnesses…he can probe into their dreams, amongst other unique skills.
It is these dreams that the “Somnium Files” are produced of. When you enter a person’s dream, you have six minutes to interact with the atmosphere and derive facts from the person’s thoughts. Figure out strategies to break literal mental locks and go deep into the subconscious to uncover the truth.
The physical versions of AI: The Somnium Files have been delayed by a single week for unexplained factors, and will hit the marketplace on September 24…but the digital versions are playable now, for Playstation four and Nintendo Switch. Physical will come in each plain ($59.99) and Specific Agent Edition ($89.99).
