Honor had been expected to unveil MagicOS 11 based on Android 17 in August, but that didn’t happen. Now, the company has confirmed it will finally do so on September 15 during its Global Developer Conference, where MagicOS 11 will be the centerpiece of the event.
According to Honor, attendees can expect a refreshed UI with heavy inspiration from iOS and its Liquid Glass design language, improved charging capabilities, and an enhanced storage cleanup feature.
AI will also play a significant role in the update. Honor says MagicOS 11 will include a new-generation AI assistant capable of executing long-term tasks of up to 100 steps, designed to reduce the burden of everyday tasks for users.
