This is day 2 of Amazon’s annual Prime Day shopping event — and this isn’t the end, as Amazon has extended it to a 4-day event. Yesterday covered the best smartphone deals; here the focus is on tablets, laptops, smartwatches, headphones, and other interesting gadgets.

Apple iPads {#ipads}
Earlier this year, Apple refreshed the iPad Air line with the newer M4 chipsets — but that still keeps them a generation behind the iPad Pro line, which is now on M5 chips. With their 60Hz IPS displays and the limited multitasking of iPadOS, the M4 chips inside the latest iPad Airs are more than fast enough for most users. The Air tablets do support Stage Manager, by the way.

Android Tablets {#tablets}
If you prefer Android, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup has several options on deal. It starts with the big and small 2025 models — the 13.2” Tab S11 Ultra and 11” Tab S11 — along with the older Tab S10+ (12.4”), the mid-range Tab S10 FE, and a couple of lower-end models. Note that only the flagship Tab S models include USB-C with video output.
Amazon Tablets {#amazon-tablets}
If you just want something to watch Netflix on or scroll through social media, a good screen is just about all you need. The Amazon Fire Max 11” has a quality IPS LCD display and is cheaper than most Android alternatives.
There are also several Kids models available. Unlike typical Fire tablets, these do not include ads by default — though you can pay €15 to remove ads from the standard tablets as well. Kids models also come with a year of Amazon Kids+, a subscription service offering ad-free books, games, videos, and apps from the likes of Disney, Marvel, and Lego.

Apple Watches {#apple-watches}
While there weren’t any iPhone deals for this Prime Day, you can still get into the Apple ecosystem with the iPads above or these Apple Watches.
Google Wear OS Watches {#wear-os-watches}
If you are using an Android phone, you can pair it with a Wear OS watch. These are quite capable but have shorter battery life — if you want longer battery life and lower prices, check out the smartwatches and bands category below.
Smartwatches and Bands {#watches-and-bands}
These are separated from the Wear OS section because without Wear OS, they have more limited app support and may lack features like onboard maps. On the plus side, they offer practically the same health tracking capabilities, handle notifications well, deliver long battery life, and come at lower price points.

Windows on ARM Laptops {#arm-laptops}
Tired of the Intel and AMD duopoly on Windows? While these machines are not yet on the level of MacBooks, Snapdragon-powered laptops do offer a genuine alternative to x86. Microsoft in particular is all-in on Windows on ARM for its Surface line, outside of some business-oriented offerings.

Headphones {#headphones}
The selection includes TWS and over-ear headphones from several top brands, covering options for Apple, Android, and platform-agnostic listeners alike.

With Amazon’s Prime Day running for four days in total, there is still time to take advantage of deals across all of these categories before the event wraps up.
