All of the good Mega Man music in 1 spot? Yes, please. All of it on beautiful blue vinyl? Wowza. Laced Records is now promoting a restricted edition boxset that captures each good Mega Man song, from Flash Man’s theme to Acid Man’s and every thing in among. The boxset does not come cheap–it’s $110–but you are receiving 152 tracks and six discs of 180g “Mega Man Blue” vinyl. Pre-orders are open now, and the vinyl will ship in December.
Maybe the coolest issue about this release, although, is all of the good artwork it consists of. The art style catches the cartoonish-however-cool style of the Mega Man series, and there’s a lot of it. Not only does the outdoors of the box function the complete Mega Man group, but each and every of the six disc sleeves capabilities exceptional artwork as effectively. Ultimatemaverickx is provided credit for the artwork on this release.
Laced Records distributes video game soundtracks exclusively, and they’ve worked on some massive titles currently. They released vinyl for the classic DOOM and Hotline Miami soundtracks, and earlier this year they brought us the Bloodborne soundtrack on vinyl. Additionally, Laced has substantial history functioning on Capcom games, especially. They have currently made records for Resident Evil, Resident Evil two, and Devil May perhaps Cry five. There’s no word however on a Monster Hunter World soundtrack, but I’m certain it is in the pipeline someplace.
Having said that, the vinyl editions of pretty much all of the games talked about above are now sold out. Clearly, demand for these Laced Records releases is sky-higher, so if you are wanting this Mega Man music as a centerpiece, you’d far better go ahead and order it now. There’s no telling if the stock will final substantially longer.
Mega Man games have been gathered in the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & two, and this collection is accessible on all platforms. Mega Man 11 is not incorporated in these collections, but it is accessible also on all platforms.
