The rocky road of improvement of action RPG sequel Lords of the Fallen two seems to have hit yet another speedbump nowadays, as CI Games and Defiant Studios seem to have come to blows resulting in the latter studio getting removed from the project.
In a Polish press release by CI Games spotted and translated by Eurogamer, CI Games claims that Defiant – who had been only brought onto the game just below a year ago – submitted a vertical slice for the game that was beneath par, resulting in the termination of the agreement. They said ‘The excellent of the function was reduced than anticipated by the business, as precisely described in the agreement, in spite of 3 calls to enhance the excellent of this stage of function.’
Defiant fired back, with founder and managing director David Grijn telling Eurogamer that ‘We categorically disagree with the portrayal of Defiant Studios created by CI Games.
