Final January, Rivals of Aether was confirmed for the Nintendo Switch by its creator, Dan Fornace. He then reconfirmed the game for this exact same platform earlier this year, in a video message at Super Smash Con.
Now, right after a extended wait, we’ve ultimately got our 1st glimpse of the game up and operating on the hybrid hardware. In the quick Twitter clip under, you can see the on line play in action:
Dan added to this tweet, saying how the group had been “functioning tough” to get the game up and “operating at 60” fps on Switch and stated the above video was just starting. Sadly, there are no plans for cross-play assistance.
As for a release date, there is nothing at all to announce just but. In reality, Dan says there is not even an estimated release window. If we get any updates, we’ll be positive to let you know.
