I came over in Nov 2018 for the iOS and security updates, and honestly have been impressed with their consistency.

Sure some updates weren’t good like the early versions of iOS 13, and android prob packs more power and all of that but I just like the idea of not having a $500+ product be abandoned by its makers/developers after a couple of years.

Also, Android makers putting out $500-$1,000 phones made the decision to leave much easier. If I’m going to spend that much for a mid-range or premium phone anyway, why wouldn’t I pick an iPhone when it’ll get 5 years of iOS updates and up to 7 years of security updates.
