Developer Steel Mantis and publisher Huge Sugar have announced a launch date for their upcoming “heavy metal platformer” Valfaris. The game will hit Computer and Switch in October, with releases for PS4 and Xbox 1 to comply with in November. It was initially announced back at E3 this year.
Valfaris requires spot in a far, far corner of space. The titular fortress of Valfaris vanishes from galactic charts and abruptly reappears orbiting about a dying sun. Naturally, obtaining when been a paradise, the citadel is now property to numerous monstrosities. Steel Mantis is promising “brutal combat, deadly enemies, and gorgeous pixel art” in Valfaris. Tends to make sense, provided that this is the group behind Slain: Back from Hell.
