File this one under “comeuppance for months of crunch that didn’t even really get the game to a launch state before Christmas”: The Cyberpunk 2077 launch fiasco has only ramped up as now Sony has yanked the game from the PlayStation Store.
Platform reps last night tweeted that it will be granting full refunds to PlayStation players who request it. “SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice,” the official message says.
The decision comes in a week when CD Projekt Red has apologized for the state of the game on PlayStation and Xbox One specifically and encouraged customers to seek refunds.
SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund. Please visit the following link to initiate the refund: https://t.co/DEZlC0LmUG.
