Good luck. Being an amputee since I was 8, any questions or concerns you or your family may have, I can try to answer. This is something I’ve always volunteered to do – my parents would talk with other parents of amputees when I was a Shriner’s patient. All situations are different, but just talking with somebody that has gone through something similar can help.
