Not long after the Nord’s launch, co-founder Carl Pei, in an interview with Wired, promised that the US would be receiving a Nord device of its own before the year was out. Sure enough, sources familiar with the project have now informed Android Central about the phone’s existence, its name and a few additional details.
What features will the OnePlus Nord Lite offer?
According to the report, this new member of the Nord family, codenamed “Billie”, will be called the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, boast a 64Mp primary camera and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 chipset – one of its most affordable 5G-capable SoCs and one that we’d previously seen by way of a Geekbench leak, as spotted by Twitter user Mukul Sharma, back in mid-July.
So yes, the Lito motherboard indeed resonates to a Snapdragon 765 series chipset, but as @Sudhanshu1414 has mentioned, the GPU here is the Adreno 619, which belongs to the SD690.#oneplus #OnePlusNord #newbeginnings pic.twitter.com/TLixOnDu0o

This ‘Lite’ version looks to be fractionally larger than the original Nord, with a reported 6.49in Full HD+ display that retains a 90Hz high refresh rate. That main 64Mp rear camera is also stated to be accompanied by an 8Mp ultra-wide-angle snapper and two 2Mp sensors; presumed to be a depth sensor and a macro or monochrome sensor, respectively.

There’s also a separate rumour from Vietnamese tech-tipster, Chun recently stating that OnePlus will also release an even more affordable variant of the Nord that uses a Snapdragon 662/665 processor.
When is the OnePlus Nord Lite launching?
While we still don’t know when exactly the N10 5G will make its debut, it’ll reportedly follow the arrival of the OnePlus 8T series, which debuted on 14 October.
At that launch event, OnePlus unveiled a new colour for the existing Nord, and acknowledged the rumours surrounding new devices, promising US fans that there are “future Nord products coming your way soon.”

This has been compounded by more recent information from Sharma, who reaffirmed that the Nord N10 5G should make its debut this month, alongside the little-known Nord N100 – assumed to be the name of the Snapdragon 662/665-powered device also referenced briefly in Android Central’s report.
How much will the OnePlus Nord Lite cost?
One of the most enticing aspects of the phone – if Android Central’s source is to be believed – will be the N10 5G’s pricing, with a cited sub-$400 price tag at launch.
Better yet, the N100 (if it is indeed the more affordable Nord entry mentioned) should clock in at around just $200.
