It’s incredibly concerning that it actually took the outrage of players for them to reverse, and that it wasn’t instantly discarded as a stupid idea by the dev team. I can’t quite understand how something as boneheaded as this made it so far. Do they actually ever stop to ask themselves questions like ‘What are we gaining from this change?’ and ‘How will this be received?’
For the longest time I have resisted to add my voice to the calls to replace Ion, but lately it just seems so obvious that this fish is rotten from the head down.
