Daybreak Games has when once again laid off employees in an try to realign the firm, it was confirmed . News initially began appearing on Twitter as now former staff tweeted about becoming let go. Daybreak Games quickly followed up with its personal statement to Gamasutra stating these layoffs have been a outcome of a realignment of the firm as it restructured teams.

We are taking actions to enhance our company and to help our extended-term vision for the current franchises and improvement of new games. This will incorporate a realignment of the firm into separate franchise teams, which will let us to highlight their knowledge, superior showcase the games they perform on, and in the end deliver tailored experiences for our players. Sadly, some staff have been impacted by this work, and we’re carrying out what we can to help them for the duration of this difficult time.”
