Three new League of Legends champions will debut in next week’s roadmap

The next League of Legends champion roadmap will be on our doorstep soon, as Riot has confirmed that it’s set to launch sometime next week. It will offer up the first details on three brand-new champions, and will finally give us some further details on the Volibear and Fiddlesticks reworks that were teased earlier this year.

“Just finished it recently,” Riot’s Reav3 says on Reddit (via Dot Esports). It’s currently in localisation, and the “plan is to have it out” on October 16 – which is Wednesday, if you don’t have a calendar handy. Reav3 confirms that the roadmap will discuss Volibear, Fiddlesticks, and “three new champions.”

The roadmap will reveal the classes for those new champs, but beyond that Reav3 hasn’t provided much detail on the content of the new roadmap. We’ve just “gotta wait like everyone else.” Earlier hints on the reworks suggest that Volibear will become a bit more thunder god-like, while Fiddlesticks will get even bigger and better ambush abilities.

For now, you can pass the time by listening to the Worlds 2019 song Phoenix on repeat until next week.

League of Legends patch 9.21 offers more immediate changes, and you can follow that link for details on what we know about the big update so far.
