Ship of Heroes’ character creation tool donor beta is set for November 1

Just an hour ago, we joked that City of Titans and Ship of Heroes have been just about to have a massive ol’ showdown as the two City of Heroes-inspired MMOs have been angling toward finding their character creator tools out in the open at roughly the exact same time. Now, it is Ship of Heroes’ turn in the spotlight, as Heroic Games has just announced that it’ll begin its personal CCT beta on November 1st.

“We are fulfilling our 2017 guarantee to open the CCT to everybody who has donated at least $50 more than the final couple of years, and let them build original characters employing our character models and costumes,” says Heroic Games CEO Casey McGeever. “Also, as we promised in the previous, participants in this Beta will be capable to build characters and save their character names for future use.

“We believe we’ve created the very best character creation tool of any contemporary MMORPG in terms of scope and depth of customization. With 3 distinct character models, more than 100 faces, a lot more than 80 distinct morphs, a lot more than 50 types of eyes, dozens of costumes and hair models, and a lot more, this is a new level of excellence in customization. What’s a lot more, our CCT is only going to get superior more than time as we add new costumes, a lot more skin, hair, fur, and other possibilities for players with which to make their personal distinctive avatars. Our players can make a lot more distinctive characters in Ship of Heroes than there are distinctive adults on the earth.”

Do note that this beta will be open for donors who chip in ahead of October 15th we do not know for confident when or regardless of whether other players could be permitted in. Our personal superhero MMO column lately covered what we anticipate out of the beta and why it is so critical for MMORPGs.
