Esports firm Millennial Esports has acquired a 51% controlling stake in automotive YouTube channel LetsGoRacing.

LetsGoRacing is a motorsport and, far more not too long ago, racing esports-focused YouTube channel produced by Grand Central Entertainment LLP, a content material creation firm formed by some of the makers of The Apprentice. At the time of publication, the channel had about 183,000 subscribers.

Following the acquisition, LetsGoRacing will continue to produce reside racing content material, but intends to step up its esports racing offerings. This seems to be a portion of a higher initiative from Millennial Esports to push esports racing-focused content material, from titles created at its mobile gaming studio, Eden Games to its broadcast esports racing competitors World’s Quickest Gamer.

“We’ve noticed a huge quantity of interest from our subscriber base in esports content material – especially from the motorsports genre,” mentioned LetsGoRacing co-founder Andrew Hill. “By joining forces with Millennial Esports, we’ll be capable to take that to a new level with far more content material, far more reside streams, and far more terrific storytelling.”
