Ms Marvel is the “viewpoint character” of Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers may possibly not be out till May perhaps, but news continues to trickle out about the project because it was revealed back at E3 in June. Even so, with the exception of Ant-Man, the only playable characters we’ve been shown so far have been the core Avengers group from the initial film – major to many issues about character style. Ultimately, at New York Comic-Con this week, Marvel has revealed the initial new playable hero because the E3 announcement – Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms Marvel.

Kamala Khan is a Muslim Pakistani-American teenager who gets powers and becomes Ms Marvel, and was introduced in 2013 – right after the prior Ms Marvel, Carol Danvers, became Captain Marvel.

It is for that reason intriguing that Square Enix and Marvel have selected to introduce Ms Marvel just before Captain Marvel in the Avengers game – even though there appears to be a cause for that. According to the description for her introduction video, Kamala Khan is the “viewpoint character” in Marvel’s Avengers – which suggests she is essentially the most important character of the story.

Kamala Khan in fact produced a sneak look in the most current gameplay reveal, exactly where fans spotted a young girl for the duration of the events of A-Day wearing a Captain Marvel shirt – and who is later revealed to have been the narrator of the video. Presumably she will continue the function of basically storyteller in the final game.

It is pretty a thing to see Kamala’s weird stretching powers realized with the additional realistic style of the Avengers game. Going by the trailer and the weblog description, Kamala uncovers the conspiracy to frame the Avengers observed in the initial trailer – and appears to be instrumental in bringing them back collectively once again 5 years later.

Ms Marvel will quickly be introduced in reside-action also, to the official Marvel Cinematic Universe via a Television series on Disney+ – but will possibly make her debut in the game just before then.
