The Nintendo Switch Lite has been added to the class action lawsuit against Nintendo with regards to alleged hardware defects that lead to mass Joy-Con drifting. [Thanks, Polygon!]
Joy-Con drift is an concern lots of players have faced exactly where the Joy-Cons start to input directions even when not getting moved, and was triggered by accelerated put on and tear in the Joy-Cons… but it appears this extends to the Switch Lite as effectively. Individuals right here and there have chimed up saying that drift had appeared pretty early into the Switch Lite’s life, and what tends to make the Switch Lite concern worse is that you want to take open the unit itself in order to modify out the sticks, as opposed to the reasonably uncomplicated Joy-Cons.
Nintendo declined to comment on the lawsuit, only answering that they are conscious of some Joy-Cons not operating properly, and to uncover their help division if you are impacted. Though there has been some capacity of help for this difficulty in NA, it is unknown no matter if this will extend towards the Switch Lite
