Ubisoft has announced the opening of a new improvement studio in Da Nang, Vietnam, which will concentrate on mobile game improvement.
Particularly, Ubisoft Da Nang will concentrate on “Immediate Games” for social media platforms. Although Ubisoft did not specify which social media platforms particularly would see new Ubisoft titles, each Facebook and SnapChat are at the moment hosting HTML5 games on their Facebook Immediate Games and Snap Games platforms, respectively.
Ubisoft Da Nang is preparing to recruit about 100 personnel more than the subsequent 3 years, who will collaborate with other Ubisoft mobile-focused studios on future projects. It is also searching into partnerships with nearby institutions and universities.
“Da Nang is a vibrant city which provides wonderful high quality of life and promising possibilities thanks to its rapidly-developing tech ecosystem,” stated Ubisoft Da Nang studio manager Aurlien Palasse. “With this opening, Ubisoft will advantage from the nearby knowledge pool even though welcoming international new talents in the area to boost its inventive strength and meet the escalating demand for mobile gaming.”
