Curve Digital Announces Table Manners, a Physics-based Dating Game

[ad_1]

Have you ever wanted to go on a date, but you have no game? Well good news, Curve Digital has announced Table Manners, a game about dating hoping to give you that game! Or at least be worth a laugh.

The trailer for the game shows the two most important parts of being on a date. First, you have to actually find someone to date, using a Tinder-like app. You’ll swipe left and right to pick appealing characters, and then have to flirt with them through text messages. Manage to do that, and you get to move onto the date itself. Now how hard can that part be? Just serve some food, pour some wine, and be fancy. Well, except for the problem that you’re a disembodied hand that is rather clumsy and prone to causing disasters. If you want to see just how bad it can go, you can check out the trailer below.

Almost looking like a combination of Surgeon Simulator and the last date I was on, Table Manners appears to be rather hilarious. One situation saw the disembodied hand accidentally light the entire table on fire. Another had them try to feed their date sushi all romantically, despite the fact that they clearly weren’t interested. As the game continues you’ll get access to more dates and different places to take them, including a cruise ship that sees you and your romantic partner sliding from the right to left as the ship tips in the waves.

Table Manners will be launching in early 2020 for PC. You can check out the game’s Steam page here.

How do you feel about Table Manners? Did your mother ever teach you any? Is it likely you’re going to pick up the game to show off your dating skills? Let us know in the comments below!
