You could say we’re quite large fans of Cat Quest ($four.99) from developer The Gentlebros. We loved this breezy action RPG in our original assessment, gave it our Game of the Week award when it launched just more than two years ago, and had it as our runner-up for our Game of the Year 2017 choose. Cat Quest initially launched on desktop alongside the iOS version, and was ported to Android about a month later, and then was brought to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation four a couple of months just after that. It is gone on to grow to be a seriously well known indie game across all platforms, and so it wasn’t just us who have been excited when The Gentlebros announced a sequel in May well of final year. We got a juicy new trailer the following month, some new screenshots and information in late August, and a show of the new couch co-op mode in October. The final we heard of Cat Quest two was when the developers announced that the title was ultimately function full, and that we could count on a release date quickly. Effectively these days we have a release date for at least 1 platform as Cat Quest two will be arriving on Steam subsequent month on September 24th. Verify out this great new trailer.

So hey, that is good for Steam gamers, but what about the rest of us, eh? Effectively the trailer description states that the PlayStation four, Xbox A single, and Nintendo Switch versions will be arriving later this year, and The Gentlebros are just a tiny bit additional precise on their Twitter account saying these versions will arrive in autumn. So, sometime just after the Steam release and prior to Christmas, I guess? As for the iOS and Android versions, when questioned about it on Twitter The Gentlebros replied that they will “have additional to announce about mobile quickly!” Does that imply that the mobile version will not be released alongside these other versions this fall, and rather slip into subsequent year? Or probably they’re going to announce that Cat Quest two will be component of Apple Arcade, and Apple will be featuring the game in their large keynote at subsequent month’s new iPhone occasion? Hey, something can take place! What ever the case, I just have to have me some Cat Quest two like STAT so I’ll be watching really closely for their mobile announcement when it occurs.
