Double-folding smartphone patented by LG

The final time, and likely the very first, we’ve noticed a double-folding smartphone was when Xiaomi began teasing its personal take on the foldable, with leaks beginning in January, followed up by official teasers, and a lot more of these in March.

It appears like the Chinese business is not the only a single exploring the subject. LG has been avoiding the foldable subject for the previous year, as the business preferred to go with a secondary show accessory for the V50 ThinQ, and its upcoming IFA 2019 successor, but it could jump straight to a double-folding smartphone, as this lately uncovered patent filing reveals.

Filed in China on March six this year, the patent describes, and shows, via its sketches, a smartphone that would have a double fold, which, when unfolded, would be twice as wide as the unfolded version of it.

A dual camera on the back, no front-facer, and a canvas everybody would envy make this a patent we want we’d see tomorrow on the industry. Verify out a lot more of the graphics at the supply hyperlink beneath!
