Hay stacking just got actual.
I will have to admit, when I typically consider esports, Farming Simulator is not specifically the very first game I have pop in thoughts. Nonetheless, beginning in late July, FarmCon will host the very first inaugural Farming Simulator League. The convention, becoming held in Harsewinkel, Germany at the CLAAS Technoparc, runs July 27 – 28.
This will not be a low-important affair, either. Competitors will face off in teams, revving their tractors for their share of a €100,000 prize pool. That heaping pile of money is just the begin. FarmCon kicks off the very first season of the competitors, exactly where experienced Farming Simulator players (by no means believed I’d see the day exactly where I kind that line) fight for that cool 100K. Season two of the league will bring the total prize pool up to a staggering €250.000.
Developer Giants Computer software released a video explaining how the competitors functions. Teams consist of 3 players such as the captain, but they can have up to 5 players such as a coach and a substitute. When you have your members, you can sign up as a Wild Card Group and play your way by way of to earn your location in the league. If you qualify, your group faces other Wild Card Teams for a likelihood to make it to the play-ins. As soon as you make it more than that hurdle, you then face 1 of the “final bosses” of the FSL, a Seeded Group. These Seeded Teams are component of the FSL and currently component of the competition’s major eight.
The video, having said that, does not really clarify how teams, nicely, win. I’m not certain how points are tallied up, or what indicates a far better digital farmer more than one more. The FSL web page does not go also in-depth, either. From the official announcement, Giants explains that matches consist of bail stacking and consist of “fun and difficult game components.” Alright, so bail stacking sounds hard, I suppose, but I assume there are other match ambitions. I must ask our resident Farming Simulator experienced A.K. Rahming just how exciting and difficult it seriously is.
Of course, we’ll know how the tournament is truly like as soon as it starts later this month. You can also watch it in action on Twitch on the Giants or Concentrate Dwelling Interactive channels. If you are a Harsewinkel nearby, you can obtain tickets for the show at the official web page.
