qwertymodo has not too long ago released a mod for the Super Game Boy that makes it possible for you to right the clock speed to match the original Game Boy’s.
As explained in the Super Game Boy section, Game Boy systems run at a clock speed of four.194 MHz and the SGB runs at four.295 MHz. This causes a video “stutter” each handful of frames, which is most noticeable in side-scrolling games. Also, the games play slightly quicker, which also benefits in a slight audio pitch modify. This mod will right that speed modify.
